Convention Logistics

Review the registration categories and select the option that applies to you (Delegate, Alternate, Observer, General Admission, Youth Unit, or Day Pass).
Click the option that applies to you.
Complete the registration form and submit payment securely online.
Be sure that if you are registering as a delegate or alternate for your unit, you have been duly elected to that role during a general body meeting.

Your registration status depends on how you are participating in the convention.
Please note: only units in compliance may register delegates and alternates. Delegate strength is determined by unit membership totals. If you register as a delegate or alternate and your unit is not in compliance, your registration will automatically be converted to an Observer.
Registration Options:
Branch Delegate β Select this if your NAACP branch has officially elected you to serve as a delegate. You will have voting privileges.
Branch Alternate β Select this if your NAACP branch has officially elected you as an alternate. You may step in with voting privileges if the delegate is absent.
Branch Observer β Select this if you are a member of a branch attending as an observer without voting privileges.
Youth Unit Delegate / Alternate / Observer β Select this if your NAACP youth unit has officially elected you to serve in one of these roles. Delegates have voting privileges; alternates may step in with voting privileges if the delegate is absent; observers attend without voting privileges.
General Admission β Select this if you are an individual community member, supporter, or guest attending without membership affiliation to an NAACP unit.
Youth General Admission β Select this if you are a youth (ages 0β25) attending as a community member, supporter, or guest without membership affiliation to an NAACP unit.
Day Pass β Select this option if you only plan to attend one day of the convention (Thursday only).

Representation of Units at the Annual Convention of the State/State-Area Conference is as follows:
25 β 49 members (Youth Units) β 2 delegates
50 β 100 members β 4 delegates
101 β 500 members β 6 delegates
501 β 1,000 members β 8 delegates
1,001 β 2,500 members β 10 delegates
2,501 β 5,000 members β 12 delegates
5,001 β 10,000 members β 14 delegates
10,001 β 20,000 members β 16 delegates
20,001 β 25,000 members β 18 delegates

The deadline to register online at the regular rate is Friday, September 11, 2026. After this date, higher rates will apply beginning Saturday, September 12th and will remain available online and onsite through Saturday October 2nd..

Yes. Onsite registration will be available during the convention at a higher rate. Beginning September 12, the increased registration rate will be available for advance purchase online. After that, you may also register onsite at the convention from September 12th through October 2nd.
We encourage all attendees to complete their registration before September 30 at the regular rate.

Yes! You can purchase Γ la carte tickets for select events in addition to full convention registration. Early purchase options include:

Each ticket grants access to its specific event only and does not include entry to general convention sessions or programming. While these tickets are available, we strongly encourage you to register as an attendee and stay for the duration of our program to experience the full impact of the convention.
Ticket prices reflect early registration prices and will increase on September 12th.

Onsite registration will be available beginning October 1 through the end of the convention. Rates are higher than advance registration and are as follows:

Convention Registration

Yes, convention registration fee must be paid by each branch (one-time fee) in order to attend the convention.

This year each branch will receive and invoice for their annual assessment fee and their member assessment fee.

Convention Assessment β This is the fee each unit pays in order to participate in the state convention.
Annual Assessment β This is the yearly dues owed to the Texas State Conference by each unit, whether or not the unit attends the convention.
Member Assessment β This is an annual fee based on the number of members in each unit. It is owed to the Texas State Conference regardless of convention attendance.

Cancellation Policy

All convention registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once your registration is submitted, we cannot offer cancellations, refunds, or credits. Please be sure to confirm your availability and unitβs delegate strength before completing your registration.
